This is Kazumi’s second show with RCMT. In her first production she played the role of Wendy in Peter Pan and is thrilled to be back. Maria has always been a role that Kazumi has dreamed of playing since she started performing. Past credits include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The King and I (TUTS); Next Stop Broadway and Main #2 (Ophidian Entertainment); and as Polly in Ali Baba (Metro Theatre). Most recently she appeared on CBC’s Triple Sensation, on which she made the top six in Canada. Kazumi is enrolled in the half-day pre-professional ballet program with the Richmond Academy of Dance and studies singing with both Ann Golden Fisher and Pat Waldron.
