Valerie Easton
Choreographer - West Side Story

Valerie has choreographed and performed in theatres across Canada for over two decades. Most recently, her work was seen at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage in the highly acclaimed production of Gypsy. Other productions for the Arts Club include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret , Miss Saigon, Evita, Jacques Brel , Singin’ in the Rain, My Fair Lady and West Side Story, for which she received a Jessie Award nomination. Some of her other Vancouver stage choreographic credits include Kiss Me Kate, Carousel and Annie for TUTS, Anne of Green Gables, Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz for Gateway Theatre, The Cradle Will Rock and Lysistrata for Studio 58, and 42nd Street, Peter Pan, Fiddler on the Roof, Anne of Green Gables and The Music Man for RCMT. Valerie has also worked in regional theatres across the country including Sunshine Theatre, The Citadel, University of Saskatchewan, and the Neptune in Halifax. Directorial credits include Mack and Mabel, A Chorus Line, Tom Foolery and Cabaret for Showcase Festival. She has also worked extensively in television, most recently in the triple threat episode of Making It Big.
