From those who shine on stage, to the unsung heroes behind the scenes, Royal City Musical Theatre (RCMT) is built on talented and invaluable volunteers whose goal it is to present excellence in musical theatre at very affordable prices.

But I think what we are most proud of is the invaluable practical theatre experience provided to young performers. Did you know that many of our alumni have gone on to professional careers on Broadway, the Stratford Festival, the Arts Club Theatre’s productions of Beauty and the Beast as well as television and movie roles?

We understand you have a busy life and may not have the time to volunteer, but you can make a difference just the same. By becoming a Friend of RCMT your tax-deductible gift will not only be making an investment in today’s young performers - helping them reach their hopes and dreams - but it will also ensure the magic continues and the show goes on!

Cast Member - $25 to $99

  • Voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting
  • An opportunity to purchase tickets one week prior to the on-sale date, including a special discount on up to four (4) tickets*
  • Advance notice of all auditions and events
  • Annual subscription to the RCMT newsletter
  • Recognition as a Friend in the souvenir program
  • A tax receipt

Understudy - $100 to $249

All of the above, plus...

  • An invitation for two to attend the dress rehearsal
  • Discount on the purchase of up to six (6) tickets*
  • Discount on commemorative merchandise purchased at the RCMT office

Principal Performer - $250 to $499

All of the above, plus...

  • A behind-the-scenes backstage tour for two following the dress rehearsal
  • Two complimentary annual production lapel pins
  • Commemorative production poster signed by the cast
  • Discount on the purchase of up to eight (8) tickets*

Artistic Director’s Circle - $500 or more

All of the above, plus

  • Invitation for two to attend the Opening Night performance
  • An opportunity to bring up to ten (10) guests to the annual production dress rehearsal, including a private behind-the-scenes tour with Artistic Director, Lloyd Nicholson
  • One commemorative production T-Shirt
  • Discount on the purchase of up to ten (10) tickets*
